Can anyone tell me what their tickover is after the engine is fully warmed up, mines running at a 1000 which seems a little high, or is this just a TVR thing? cheers.

The Speed six has no cold running programme so when cold it idles at 600-750 and when fully warm can idle as high as 1000. 950 is more preferable as a max. You will find it will drop as the engine beds in between services and goes slightly out of tune.

Nothing to worry about...

The tickover will be all over the place until you've had your 1000 mile service - I had loads of problems with this on both hot (fast) and cold (slow) idle, once the service is done it'll be a lot better.

They also seem to deteriorate towards service time, not severly - but you will notice an appreciable difference after each service.
