How are the new Tamora engines bearing up? Anyone got any decent mileage on them yet? Any gone bang?

I am thinking about swopping my Cerb S6 for one and just wondering if the smaller engine size is proving to be more reliable or whether the S6 engine is now pretty well sorted.

Flasher has the biggest mileage so far - pushing 4000, isn't it, flash? Alll's well so far with all the cars I know. Has your S6 let you down, and how many miles have you done?

I have completed 11,000 miles and had a complimentory rebuild at 6,500. I have had numerous oil leaks, engine stutters, throttle pot failures etc in addition to the rebuild. The engine is running well at the moment but I have had the car 18 mths and fancy a change and the Tamora looks more and more appealing.

Up to 4000 miles now, as I couldn't resist taking it to work in Nottingham today. Caused a sensation in Morrisons at lunchtime!! Engine feels superb, lets hope this engine thing is finally sorted....
