Were you parked outside Blockbusters in Derby at 6pm this evening?

Ah, well it was dark

I just drove past on my way home from the footy

I saw you the other day too I think, on the A52 towards Ashbourne.

Quite likely, I drive that way to work every day. Not seen your T350 yet, although a few friends seem to have spotted it (unless there's another red one in Derby?).

I think ours is the only one. James leaves for work between 7.30am and 8.50am so unless you are up and about at that time you would miss him.

I drive a Ka, next time I see you I'll flash my lights

Snap! I'm driving a Ka now too - dealer gave me one as a courtesy car this morning while my car is in for the 1k service (plus a few other bits so I might have it for a few days)

I'm continuing your fine work, my good man!

When I picked it up, the service manager said "Its a bit low on fuel" (file under : Understatement) "but there is a petrol station just to the left of the lights outside of the village..."

Needle was on the floor when I started it up so gingerly drove to said station. Imagine my surprise when, just as I was about to put in a few pennies worth of zoom juice, the good lady behind the desk said "Sorry, no fuel for an hour, we're completely dry..."

Oh how I chuckled, skipping back to the car, and by some intervention of a guardian angel, made it to the next station some 5-6 miles down the road.

Only fair I should make use of the petrol I bought. Not easy to use up a tenners worth on the short journeys I do. I'm trying very hard though
