Just wondered if you were on here? I was in the black Tuscan that followed you earlier today.

Is it red? I used to see a red one go one the ring road near moortown nearly every day when I lived in Leeds

Rosso Pearl, I think. He was on the Otley Road bit of the Ring Road. Gave me a wave! Guess it must be the same one.

Where are you now Alan?

Where are you Chim_girl? I hardly ever see any other TVRs round Leeds, even though I do tend to be out in mine a fair bit.

Without being too specific in a public forum, I'm in the North, closer to Harrogate than Leeds. Where are you?

Have you seen that a bunch of us are meeting in Leeds on the 13th December. You're welcome to come along.

I'm right in the middle of the student ghetto. I saw the thread about the 13th, but not sure what I'll be doing that weekend yet.

Durr, yes you did, sorry I was having a blonde moment! If you're in studentville then it's amazing how we've managed to miss each other. I drive through that area at least 5 times each week.

Hope you can make it, even if it is just for a beer with us. If you can make if for pizza I'll need to know by Friday evening. I'm going into Pizza Express at lunchtime on Saturday to finalise numbers and handover some hard cash! (well, my visa card!)

Must keep my eyes open for you in future.

I will not make the meal but will try to come along for a drink if I can.

Hi Jo, I notice that you have your registration number showing on your Tuscan on your profile pic - if you're worried enough to not give your location away here I would white it out if I were you (see my profile pic for a good example! )

Hmm, I've wondered about blanking my registration and I know other people have debated the point. Just how easy would it be to get an address from a reg plate? I would like to think that my information is pretty safe with DVLC...??? Any thoughts?

Anyone with access to the DVLA database can do this, this could include the police, civilian workers in the police force (administration, etc.), DVLA employees or just someone who knows someone like the people I have listed.

I believe it is also possible for Joe Public to get an address from a registration number by filling in the correct form, but a good reason is needed and of course the request for info is recorded. It might not stop someone using an alias though.

Personally, for the effort involved I just blank out my registration number on any digital pictures I place anywhere, low though the risk may be. My main concern is that once a picture has been posted on the web you never know where it will go or who will see it.

Nope, the only one I have seen a light blue one Vxxx CMC. There are a few of us meeting up next month so I should have a better idea of who's driving what afterwards.

Joel has sold his Cerbera now and bought a Ferrari 456, so keep your eyes open for the same plate.

Use to drive around leeds (near the uni) in my blue (iris) Chim, but sold it a month ago. Guy who bought it also lives locally so you may still see at around. I have also seen a dark blue Chim parked at Leeds Uni on the odd occasion, and seen a black Griff and a yellow Chim around harrogate quite a bit as I drive into Leeds on my way to work. There's also a red and a few dark blue Cerbs and a grey tamora around harrogate.
