Hi all
I'm sure you lot get these post all the time, but I'm thinking of getting rid of my S2000 and buying a Tamora. I've got a few questions for you all.
I know the Tamora fast, but what is it like round the bends at speed, are the cornering speeds high, also how does it copes with bump steer and bumpy roads in general.
Does the roof leak; is it fixable if it does?
The final one, is the reliability as bad as people make out

Hmmm. I think you would be better off with the S2000. The roof is better (does not leak and is quicker to stow), it won't break down, uses less fuel, is cheaper to run and it's stress free. Keep the Honda.

I can't be arsed with anything that leaks, no chance. The Honda S2000 doesn't leak...
Looks wise they all look great (apart from the Tom, which I can't afford).

My roof doesn't leak, but the join between side window and door frame tends to. It goes round smooth corners like it's on rails, but bumpy roads loosen your dentures ... so if your teeth aren't all your own you'd probably best stick with the Honda. If water leaks annoy you you'd best stick with the Honda, and if little niggles annoy you you'd best stick with the Honda. If you want a car that looks and sounds great, attracts attention wherever you go, and has thrilling performance try the Tamora.
Adam.. my Tamora doesn't leak and handles as good as anything out there.. as far as going over bumps! what real sports car likes bumps?? go for it mate, it's the perfect combination of power,handling and convertible motoring in a TVR... reliability! i had more problems with my 911's...
Regards the handling there was an interesting comment on a thread recently by a chap who was/is upgrading from an Elsie to a Tamora. The point was that whilst everyone universally commends the Elise as one of the best handling cars around how would it perform with 350 (genuine) bhp going through it? People tend to underestimate the requirements of the chassis design on cars with the performance of the Tamora. And... just look at the time set by the Stig in the T350c - which is essentially the same set-up as the Tamora, it wasn’t half bad! Rich...
