Looking for clarity.

Dear all, I'm looking to buy a Tamora could someone tell me what is the
difference between the face lifted & none face lifted models, is it just
cosmetic or are the internals different as well?

Any information would be much appreciated.""

I understood that the changes were only to the front and rear lights (not headlights)but a friend who had a 02 and now 03 Tamora says the engine feels and sounds different too.

as far as i know it is just the lights front and rear they changed, saw a T350c and the glovebox was different, so they might of changed that too.

I've owned both an 02 and an 03 model, neither being the facelift model. My understanding that the only changes involve the lights and to be honest I think the non facelift version looks better, more symmetrical.

The engine and gearbox in the 03 model are noticeably better than the 02 one, though whether this is individual cars or general improvements I have no idea. I have heard the engines in the later cars are smoother.

As with all TVRs the Tamora has been continually evolving since it was first introduced in late 2001. But there's nothing to say that a later car is 'better' than an early one.

The 'facelift' you're talking about is purely cosmetic. The front fog lights were replaced with larger 'driving' lights and rear lights were moved slightly.

Cheers...... Andrew

It has been bandied about that the '03 cars have a different oil channel or similar in the head to stop a percieved problem of oil starvation.

A search will yield the threads I am sure.

Wasn't struck by the Tamora when I first saw it but it has come to grow on me, must be the continual evolution you talk about! Rich...

I believe they made some changes to the steering assembly (electric power steering?)
