Octane booster...

Has anyone used an octane booster in there Tamora with posative results.. and which brand was it?

I take it the more mdern Tivs have knock sensors now, if so it will stil only advance to the maximum its mapped for, which is probably 98/7 ron AFAIK and IMHO.

Optimax seems to be the preferred octane booster!

Tried that new Ultimate fuel from BP today and i can tell you the response was great.. felt smoother and more responsive..

isn't that just 97 ron super unleaded that has been rebranded though??

They told me it was 98.. and their version of Optimax.. i've always used super from BP and this felt more responsive, could be more efficient than before.. will have to check thier web site for the precise ratings..
