Thats a pretty fair review. Interesting that you have had the same niggles as the rest of us too. Apart from the few people who deny having any problems.....they remind me of the blackadder episode where General Melchet says..

"That's the spirit George, If all else fails a total unwillingness to stare facts in the face will see us through, Baaaaa"

Nice to see that despite the little ups and downs you still love the car, like me!

Hi Bisonuk, you have hit every nail "smack" on the head,(minus a few bits that you 'WILL'! have happen)
Great write up!! can you come and do the same with my T350c, but you may need more time to type up the report.

Err.... none of those problems here - well you would expect me to say that but it's true....
However just to be fair:

1. Lower windscreen seal parted company this morning - self fix with some decent sealant.
2. LCD dash display sometimes starts, sometimes doesn't - anyone else have this?
3. Door security button LED - the one next to the lhs window controls... managed to stay lit for ooh about 15metres from the dealers door after picking the car up.
4. Been tailgated by some mad female in a Golf R32 (ironic that Bison eh - maybe all R32 owners aspire to the same thing..) who followed me for miles until I pulled into some shops, where she did a drive by to tell me that the reversing light was flickering on and off as I was driving along.
5. Been careful with the petrol but noted that if the tank readout states 10 litres, you will only manage to get 40 more in there. There's 10 litres extra reserve that doesn't register on the dash readout. I'm currently investigating the adaption of a filler hose from a reserve petrol can - the plastic type - to avoid spillages and spurts.

As for your review, it's a little daunting neh off-putting, for anyone new to TVR to read about the build quality - again, but I guess as you've experienced it first hand you are entitled to that.

Tivster.

fair point but i hope it didn't come across too negative as the niggles i've had come NO WHERE NEAR the level of joy i'm taking out of it everyday!! Joys outwaying doom by at least 10 to 1... and if i can get some new speakers...

Yep, had this for the past 19 months! Not too much of a problem as I always pause after turning the ignition on and before starting the engine.
It's been looked at by the factory who don't have a fix but say it's a known problem. Software upgrades have not fixed it!
Cheers..... Andrew

Speakers!!! when there is so much natrual sound to listen too, it's a crime, I reckon you should pull them out. PERIOD.

Was well funny when you left my house the other night, that thing has such a rumble, all the curtains were twitching down the street as you were parked warming up.. when you set off, all you could see were flickers of light dissapear as you went down the steet hehehe

It may help to keep people off my back, makes the Charger seem really quiet!!!
