I am interested to hear from any Tamora owners, have just bought my second Tamora. First was a July 2002 car, did 9,500 miles plus in a year, weekend use only. The car was great no problems other than an engine tweak after 700 miles, new Finger followers and cams done by the factory. Got a brilliant deal on a 2003 model which I picked up early August, the car being bulit late June - early July.
I can not believe the difference, engine is much mechanically quieter, everything seems better put together, ( though the previous car never gave any trim problems )suspension copes with 18" rims, had the first Tamora on 16 which gave superb handling. Exhaust note deeper and meaner - has the exhaust system being changed from earlier models?
Any comments from owners of 2003 Tamora's would be particularly appreciated and anyone on their second?
I hope more people will try the Tamora, having had previously a Pre cat Griffith and a 4.5 Cerbie I can honestly say I think the Tamora is the best sorted TVR and should sell in greater numbers.
Cheers,
PS - first time I have tried this forum, really enjoyed following the dialogue to date!

Hi, Patrick - can't wait to see your new silver Tamora as distinct from your old silver Tamora at the next outing. Joking apart it's interesting that you notice such a difference in the two Tamoras - proof maybe that TVR do develope their cars.

PS Thought I'd reply if only to bring your thread back up to the top. Hopefully the Tamora owners out there will respond when they get out of bed!
