Firstly, hello to all the regulars - been reading for several weeks, always entertaining and informative. Good work all!

Anyway, about to take the plunge with a T350c (probably tonight, going to dealer for 3rd time to spec the colour - I just can't decide!). Driven BMWs for years (on my second M3 at the moment) so this is going to be like jumping off a cliff for me if the topic of some of these posts are anything to go by Not that I've never had problems with M3s but not quite on the scale of some things posted here - then again, maybe I've just been lucky!?

I've notice a few people in the Derby area (Fish, Mrs Fish, TopBoss) and I'm assuming you bought from Peter Smith? Just wondered if you had any observations about the dealership (legal ones of course) and more importantly how well they handled things when they went wrong?

hello there

Fish bought his car from Hexham Horseless Carriages (long story) So I'm afraid we can't help you out there.

Not sure about anyone else.

I bought mine from Peter Smith (travelled all the way up as they did a very good exchange on the Elise). They were very helpful at all times (especially when it broke down 30 minutes after picking it up!).

Friendly bunch - say hi to Peter for me!

I'm from Notts on the border with Derbyshire. Had Two Elise's and the 350T from Peter Smith's. No problems so far. Good lads there ! Say Hi for me when you get there.

OK, no colours picked, ended up driving home with all the swatches in my boot!

I think the paint colour is going to be Halcyon Space Blue Pearl. Anyone seen a car in this?

I'm reeeeeaaalllly struggling! Never had so much choice before!

Never seen Halcyon Space Blue Pearl sounds mint though.
Whatever colour you pick I think you will be happy.
Gone for Crystal Topaz Pearl myself, I think it looks great and had favourable feedback from friends etc.
What about some of the cascade paints they are awesome. Dear though at 4K you pays yer money......
I'll try and get round to posting some pics.

Ahhhh, you didn't take delivery of your car this week did you? I saw a Crystal Topaz one there on Saturday and it looked absolutely stunning! I don't think I'm brave enough to go for such a light colour though.

I found a picture of a Cerbera S6 in the Halcyon Blue here;

Hmmmm, doesn't help - I still can't decide! Arrrrghhhh

If you're struggling with colours and specs then your best bet is to have a look around the factory at some of the cars being built, which your dealer can arrange, or phone them direct and arrange it with either Danielle or Lisa. It will also add to your experience!

In addition to the factory, look round as many dealers as you can, also check out any other marques dealers because you can have any colour you like, take a look at members profiles for pix and sleepy-fish.com as well.

.... well I'd not touch Peter Smiths dealership with a bargepole again personally and use TMS. I find them very helpful and co-operative.

Agree that you need to go to the factory and speak to Danielle, Lisa to see a full range of colours on cars (not bits of card). It also kind of forces you to choose "something" before you leave at the end of the day.

Would say that Danielle seems to be a bit of a "magnolia or whatever its called these days" fan so if you want a "wacky" interior you may have to stand your ground.

Is that blackpool blackberry lol.
Did the car ever exist? it would be interesting to see the interior colour scheme. Has anyone else opted for this colour, seems rare?
