My T350C has had an oil leak since new. Very minor at first, however it's been back to the dealer twice now and it seems to get worse each time it comes back.

They have now said they will get the 'engine guys' from the factory to look at it, having had no luck with the advice they were given from them.

Anybody else had oil leak problems and should there be any known issue with the SP6 that I should be getting concerned about?

Cheers

Where's it leaking ? I got through two oil pressure sensors (driver's side, near the bulk head) that were leaking.

Cheers,

Andy.

I had a leak from one of the hex bolts holding on the rocker cover. It wasn’t tight and oil was dripping on the exhaust.

My T350C has a habit of spitting a bucket load of oil onto the ground if I start up immediately after stopping with the engine hot. Seems like it had too much oil in it (can't seem to get the dipstick not to show way too much oil!). Seems like it's venting excess or something. Dealer couldn't sort it, hasn't happened lately.

Now I just need to get the oil stains off the road!

It's seems to be fairly central under the engine, bang on in the middle.

It's going back to the factory on the 23rd to be looked at by them as I think the dealership has exhausted the options available to them.

I'll let you know how I get on.

I was mainly interested to see how common oil leaks are with the SP6 in general. Anybody else had oil leak issues?

Yes, I had one. Sounds like it may have been in a similar place. It took two attempts - first attempt the dealer told me it was the actual oil lines, and replaced the whole lot. Still had a leak though. I took it to them again and they fixed it (didn't ever find out exactly where it was - I got the "Don't know guv, i didnt do the job" response when i picked the car up) but it's been as good as gold ever since.

No problems at all with the T350 on this one, but my Tamora did go through a couple of oil pressure sensors where the rubber seemed to slpit. You may have too much oil in the car, because I think thats what caused mine.
