T400C

Thought I'd start a new thread to try and get this forum back where it was a few months ago: interesting.

Does anybody have a t350c with the 400bhp upgrade? Will you tell us what it's like, how much extra it was, was it done at the factory or after delivery, was it worth the extra? etc, etc. Also has anybody done anything else to their cars which improve it in some way? Please feel free to start a new thread.

Both christof and barefoot do, although postings on their cars running the 400bhp are thin on the ground. Obviously they can't bring themselves to sit down long enough to type anything.

Blueyes - when it arrives (around two weeks time) my T will have the 400bhp upgrade with the bigger brakes and exhaust etc. All in cost £5K - factory fitted. The dealers really excited about getting it - but bar the PDI they won't be driving it - I hope!!

I posted today under TVR general gassing re the 0-100-0 article in Autocar this week which might give you some insight!....worth every penny I promise you, would liked to have taken it to Oulton on Sunday but I believe that it is full.

Just enjoying our standard T for the summer right now. Will be enquiring about a 400 BHP upgrade when it gets dark and wet...

Will obviously have to get it done as i've bought the reg plate T4 OOC from the DVLA in advance. (see what I did there?!?!?)

Thanks everybody for the info. It sounds like a lovely bit of kit. Did it increase the cost of your insurance?

Don't know yet - will be gathering quotes in the near future...
Currently have a 4.2 Cerbera so i'm anticipating a slight increase
