On a MUCH Lighter note...

As the general feel of this forum has gotten a bit aggressive and depressing. Let me share story that made my weekend:

I hosted a demonstration drive for a potential member (funnily enough, now a member!) in our T350C on Sunday.

This chap used to race cars so he's a bit handy behind the wheel. He has also recently been treated to a 'Rarri Driving Day for his 30th and got the chance to hoon about in a 360 & 360 Spider.

His comments during the drive:

Pulling away: "bloody hell! This feels good!"

5 minutes in: "Can I boot it yet?"

6 minutes in: "Sh*t! this is easily faster than the 360's"

15 minutes in: "IT'S A GO KART WITH A ROOF!"

17 minutes in: "Yep, definitely faster than the 360's"

End of demo: "The best fun I've ever had in a public road"

I've not been fortunate enough to have driven a 360, so can't comment on the performance part but this has got to make us (TVR owners and enthusiasts in general) feel good. A proper "David and Goliath" story.
