Hi All,

As a proud owner of a new Tamora - I thought I would pop in and say hi as this seems like the best TVR forum about.....

I'll post a piccy of my new baby later.

Always good to have another Tamora owner among us, we are a fairly rare breed you know. I was the only Tamora owner at the GOTG Bristol TVRCC meet out of about 250+ (or howerer many)cars.

What are your first imressions? Is it a new one? what colour is it? when can we see pics of it?

I'll give you a week, it will break down then you will think it's a pile of sh*t and then you will buy a Volvo!

Sorry but thats how this Forum seems to be going these days so I didn't want to feel left out!

Seriously though - Fantastic news and I look forward to seeing the pic.

Paul, I know you put some smilies after your post but that doesn't excuse it! Keep comments like that to yourself please!

Hi Stuart, good choice! Get some pics up soon?
My advice is to get the first 1000 miles done soon and then let all hell break lose!

Cheers.... Andrew

Read it properly Andrew and they were not smiles but blah blah blah!! I know you must be feeling pissed off of the subject but lighten up as otherwise we might as well all be dead.

We were at GOTG too (T350- obviously) and were surprised at the lack of Tamoras especially considering more than 170 other TVRs turned up!

Where were the Tamora owners?? They missed a great weekend of driving!

I was helping to run the Milton Keynes Triathlon ... fantastic day on Sunday, over 600 people into the lake at Emberton ... and all of them back out again.

Having camped over in the rain on the Saturday night and started at 5:00am I can now hardly keep my eyes open ...

and my Tamora is still at TMS. Soon though, very soon I hope, I will get it back and the fun will restart !!

Stuart:

Welcome to a select club! We've had our baby about 3 months now - fabulous, absolutely the right decision. Driving along a country road with the roof off, sun shining, growl of the engine, can't be beaten!

You'll love it!

Stuart, you will not be disappointed, that I guarantee.
I ran a Tamora for 12 months and 6,000 miles, and it never missed a beat, apart from a few small trim issues when new, which were sorted by the dealer at the first service, mechanically it was sound.
I am awaiting delivery of a T350 shortly, and so am happy to place trust in the S6 engine again
This forum has become a bit negative over past few months, so try and ignore them, and enjoy the car There are several Tamora owners on here that have have them in excess of 12 months, and am sure that all have no regrets.

Hi Stuart,
Enjoy your new toy, Nothing comes close to the feeling of awesome power and looks of a TVR, the car just gets better and better the more you drive it (especially the exhaust note!). As regards to this site, there is far more positive help than negative from Tamora owners so hang around and let us know how you get on.
Pics and details of car please.
Cheers
Glenn

Hi,

got it ex Demo - with about 1100 Miles on it last week - haven't stopped driving it and just under 2000 now - I know I know I need TO watch the miles - I just can't help it it is so adictive :-)

The Car - Its a Rosso Red (Pearlescant SP?), has a sort of blue suede on the seats/DOORS and then two different sort of off grey (almost lilac and cream) leather on dash etc.

18 inch wheels and Aircon oh and a crap Stereo :-)

I absolutely adore it and love the color combos.

Performance is simply mind blowing, although there are quite a few little nigglies to sort out - windows don't fit well and a lot of glue over the leather but its going in next week for those.

Well not sure if this piccy works but if you cut and paste this into your web browser shoudl be there.

Very nice car, Stuart. Welcome to the club!

Incidentally, forget the mileage - these are cars to be driven and enjoyed - the depreciation will happen anyway, so get out there. Mine never missed a beat and was running superbly when I flipped it over into a field and destroyed it! I'm looking forward to getting another next year.

Now, get off the computer, get out in the heat wave, and DRIVE!!
