T350T - Official Pics

TVR release first pictures of the open top T350

They promised us a T350 with a removable roof and here it is. Two panels click out leaving the roll cage intact and safety uncompromised.  Buffetting has apparently been kept to a minimum.

The panels have been made of carbon fibre to keep the weight down and they are stored behind the seats so as not to use up the boot space.

TVR expect 50% of T350 production to be made up of T350T's. Price is £40,500. The car pictured below is the first customer car which left the factory on Thursday morning destined for a customer in Yorkshire.

Mixed opinions. On my first impression i dont like it from the outside. But that is a birds eye view of it
From the inside it looks ok and looks like you will get the Targa feel.

Reminds me a bit of that '86 Toyota MR2 Mk1 in front of my house, but that ain't too bad a thing, especially since it has got some power, which the Toyota lacks more than just a bit.

Like the paint, but if I could get a new TVR (in the USA you know), I'd go for a regular T350 or a Tuscan.

Are the engines more reliable yet?

Don't like it.
From the inside it isn't that bad but from the outside ....
With the removable pieces in place it's even worse (judging from former pictures).

It's a real shame they didn't make a full spider (like the Tuscan) or even better, a convertible.

Don't quite see the point in having one - either get a Tamora (1st choice) or a T350C

is the speaker on the door standard on T350's or is this a factory upgrade?

I think it looks great with the panels out, but will reserve judgement until I have seen one in the flesh.

Looks great......want to see a close up of the securing arrangements though. Can someone show us some more details please........

Gotta be the best of both worlds - a hard top, and a 'flip-top' for dry days.

My order has been placed this week !!

Well It'll depend on the amount of demand from you the other PH'ers out there....
Mind you I guess Flasher won't be able to speak at the moment as he'll be too busy eating his words...

1. They'll never make it.
2. Can't be done.
etc... etc....

I await his or Bennnos misquote to tell me about dates I said I'd had mine delivered etc blah bloody blah.

mmmm not too sure would have been good to have seen some pics with the pannels in place - those taken the other week at the factory and posted here gave a flavour but TVR did say that those were not the final version so would be good to see if the pannels are flat, raised etc. At the mo not really a fan sorry TVR
