I've searched the Gassing Station for pics and haven't come across any. Can anyone point me in the right direction.
I spoke with Danielle at TVR and they're hoping to have pics added to the TVR website by the end of the week but I can't wait! I'm intruiged to see how the 'subtle' bumps on the roof panel look....

Thanks, Nick.
The pics looks more like two sunroofs than a targa... not very appealing for and extra £2000.00
These are not the finished panels, but the same photos that were labelled prototype and to which - quite rightly IMO - TVR objected.
So facts are:
1. The T was always going to be two removable panels.
2. The design is still being finalised.

I heard unofficially from a dealer this weekend that at the moment the panels dont both fit in the car when removed, oops!
I respect your comments Craigw, but frankly the dealer is talking out of his/her nether regions. The factory have been grilled by my dealer at least once a week at my behest and as a result I consider I have up to date information concerning my car in detail and the T therefore in general. The panels not fitting the boot comment has never been an issue. What is an issue at the moment is the nature of the material used for the panels. If there are holdups then this'll be the main reason.

I spoke with Danielle at the factory and she informed me that the panels are made of Carbon Fibre and as standard finished in the same colour as the body. They fit into pouches and sit in the boot. She also said that the first cars should be completed this week and pictures posted on the TVR website... time will tell.

To confound matters I was told yesterday that the panels are currently glass!!!
Doesn't do anything for me either, simply looks like a fancy sunroof, would prefer an all in one roof that could be removed like the Tuscan's...
Had great hopes for this, but feel a bit disappointed..
Maybe it looks better in the flesh, will have to check out when my dealer is getting one in to have a look at..Must leave the wallet at home though

I am pleased that folk are being honest in their opinions rather than raving for raving's sake.
I hated the Tuscan when it came out - but eventually ended up buying one because the looks grew on me over time. I like the shape of the T350C but at the moment the T350T roof job looks a bit fussy / contrived when viewed from the outside. It reminds me of the days when people got after market sunrooves fitted to their cars for £50. IMHO I agree with the comment that it would have been nice to see a design like the Tuscan's where the whole single panel is removable and the car becomes more like a convertable. Saying all this, I recognise that I may change my mind when seeing it in the flesh and I applaud TVR for giving us punters yet more choice.

I have to say I don't like it either. I also find it very interesting that there are no pics of the panels from the front or overhead. Makes me wonder whether there is still some fine tuning to be done after a bit of public reaction has been gauged.
Personally I think they should have done a system like on the 911 which gives a glass area front to back.

That looks very neat but how does the curvature on the forward one-quarter of the panel get accommodated as it retracts? I suspect the tooling investment in the Porsche roof panel design would be equivalent to , err, well, all of PW's salary in one go.
