problem with boot lock on Tamora

Is this a known issue ? I have had a problem opening/closing the boot ie sometimes it will not open, others it will not close. Going past the dealer, took it in, was told that the solenoid can overheat and re-routed the wiring. 24 hours later the problem returns. Any ideas ?

never heard of that one, can sometimes lock up when i hit the anti open door thingy button inside.

Happened once shortly after I got it but nothing since so not enough grief to bother speaking to TVR about it. And yes, I am terminally lazy

Boot wouldn't open after locking car from inside.. had to lock and unlock with remote.. when you open your door it doesn't release boot lock therefore you have to go through that procedure in order to open the boot to refuel etc.. which was a bit embarassing at the begining.. As far as the boot not closing.. i had the same problem which gave me a flat battery.. but was just a simple adjustment to the lock to rectify the problem..
