Are we talking Speedo or GPS readings ?
In my T350 digital speedo is accurate until around 80, then it starts to underread! 2 or 3 miles under at 90-100 mph and I've seen as much as 5 miles under reading against my Garmin Vista. I've always thought TVR dials are optimistic, not anymore
Could it by the 18 inch wheels on the T350C, with Speedo callibrated for 16 inch on original Tamora?
Going to Bedford at the end of the month for a couple of trackdays, looking forward to seeing how much quicker I'll be down the back straight than previous outings there in my Chimaera 450 (TVR Speedo readings then were 130-135)

We used Mel's GPS at Bruntingthorpe and it was virually bang on what the speedo was saying at 146mph down the straight. Through the timing beam on the main runway I hit 156 mph and my speedo was saying 154mph.
I think the latest TVR speedos are pretty accurate although Jeremy C's Cerbera was obviously out because he was claiming 175mph and only managed 165mph on the timing beam, still impressive though....

I had 173 on the Autoroute in France on the way to Folembray....
And Smiffy wasn't too far behind in his Imprezza!!
Flasher I took the Tamora to France last year, due to the fact that my speed restrictor wasn't in the car (my wife)and I had Ian instead who just shut his eye's after 140mph, it was dancing around the 170mph.
it lasted a predicatable 4 seconds ...I bottledit after we overtook a porker and then pulled into the next garage to refuel...simulaiar to the rocket car at Pistonfest... well nearly, about 68 mph less and the Tamora used around 230 gallons of fuel less on the quarter mile
Anyway however fast it was I think I was going about .5mph faster than Flasher
Hadn't even got into third then
Strange! After starting this thread I thought I'd get a load of abuse about encouraging people to speed. Thanks for the honest replies.
I lied a little. It was on the last 3 miles of the A13 approaching Le Havre. I just ran out of road.
In my younger days I would have turned around and done it again and again until I'd reached 175. (When I had the Griff, I did just that and managed to hit the rev limiter in top.... with the roof down!)
Old age or loss of bottle?
Depressing either way

As we all know speed kills so you are all dead and in the after life
Good to see people using their cars like they are supposed to be driven getting a bit fed up with poeple being hypocrittes about speed this makes a refreshing change
Keep it up oh and if any of you need someone to varify the speedo readings from the passenger seat for you just let me know
