Just had a call from a local dealer......they said 25K! Laughed my head off......he then said "do you want to do the deal".......Almost fell off chair at that time! Had a firm offer of 33K I reckon they would up that by about 1K+ with some pushing.
Trade prices? It's worth about £27K as it stands. £30K if you are trading up to another TVR.
Privatley? Well, there isn't much of a market to go by at present, and who buys a Speed six engined car privatley? You'd be well lucky to get £28K privatley....
Right or wrong that's the current market. Plenty of Tuscans around for £25k which doesn't help the situation.

Maybe on the forecourt £34,995. But if you are not buying anything and just seeking a cash deal off a dealer you won't get above £27-28K. I know because I tried to sell my Tamora a few months back....
Trading it in against another car will get you a better price...
Seems the drop in residual as soon as you drive it out of the showroom is almost 10k...oops
Due to the engine problems, many people are steering clear. I looked at coming back to the TVR fold, but I dont think my blood pressure could handle the agro involved with ownership. I have more fun on the track these days at a fraction of the cost.
Decent Griffs however cannot be found for love nor money.
Good luck with the sale. I know what its like. I lost a packet on my last tuscan.
Just weighing up the options. I'm thinking of trading the car in for an STI Impreza or similar. Unfortunately circumstances have changed for me very quickly and the TVR just isn't a practical option now. Will be heartbroken to see it go.

Topboss - there is another option - partly suggested by trackdemon - trade with a Griff/Chim owner plus cash - then sell the Griff/Chim privately.
There's a very healthy market at the moment for good Griff/Chim under £20K. That way you could realise a price similar to top trade in value but end up with all the cash.
Griff/Chim owners are used to TVRs and would be less scared by the Tamora. Okay you'd get your cash in two drops but at least you'd have an open TVR to enjoy while you advertised it before getting your second drop of cash.
A bit of lateral thinking might just get you a good result. Now's the time of year to go for it!
