Any body had a problem with their Speedo on T350C/TAMORA, Just driven back from work and it first stopped working, then it was flicking from 0 to 280 MPH, than stopped working again. Switch off and start up again but no change even looked at factory settings on LCD and played around with this, still the same!!!!
Got P***** off so put the bloody thing in the garage, I will phone the dealer tomorrow (wanted to go for a play tomorrow, not much fun without Speedo, you know with all these coppers and cameras !!!!!, nod, nod, wink, wink). Can any one help.
All the best

Is it the analoge needle or the digital bit or both. They are both fed from the same sender that can if incorrectly adjusted lead to a problem but not a constant bouncing of the needle from 0 - 280!

If it is the needle only I would imagine it is the stepper motor that has gone up the creek.

Hope that helps..

Oh this is Fish posting BTW

We have had our new T350c two weeks and our speedo has gone on the blink as well. The digital readout works fine but the needle reads 10 mph @ 70mph + real speed. This, we are told, will be fixed at our 1000 mile service.

Mine did this in the Tamora, then shorted out the dashboard lights, and then the digital and analogue speedo stopped working. Turned out to be the speed actuator on the read axle had come adrift, and possibly shorted out on the chassis. took 10 minutes to fix.

Had something similar with the Tamora tacho - sometimes idling at 6000 rpm, sometimes bouncing around and sometimes just plain not working at all. Also took out the high beam light
Dealer said it was a faulty ribbon cable feeding the dash unit ?...

Mine's been doing this for a while now - it sort of works for a while and then goes (both analogue and digital)...

Racing Green Cars had a fiddle (tried to adjust it or something) but it didn't do the trick. Now waiting for the actuator to be replaced...

In the meantime I bought a GPS RoadPilot and use that instead of the cars speedo - far more accurate anyway

Cheers,
Dylan
