Adjustable Pedal Box
Discussion
I've just tried to adjust the position of the throttle pedal as it's presently quite a lot 'lower' than the brake, which makes it almost impossible to heel and toe, unless I'm really standing on the brakes.
I slackened off the lock nuts on the end of what appeared to be an adjuster bar, but when I rotated the bar, it just moved up and down on the thread, rather than changing the position of the pedal.
Has anyone else adjusted their pedals with any degree of success?
Cheers, Rob

It could be to do with how the lever bit is fitted to the butterfly spindle on the throttle body.
They do normally sit perfectly for heel and Toe. If the throttle spindle isn't right you also won't get full throttle. Mybe check that end?
If not your dealer should adjust it all. Sorry thats not too helpful but I just think it will be the engine end as all the stops for cable travel and hence pedal travel are on the engine.

Thanks Fish, but I've checked and there is sufficient play in the cable for the throttle peddle to sit slightly higher.
It's just the bar which is attached to the back of the peddle, that links it to the bit that pulls the cable, which needs adjusting, (if that makes any sense).
The car's going back to TMS within the next 5-6 weeks, so I may just get them to sort it out. It's too bloody hot to be crawling around in the footwell this weather, anyway!
