Does anyone use a cover or are you all putting it away in the garage overnight. I tried using the Leven cover I had for the Chimaera, but where it shuts in the boot the angle is wrong and water dribbled into the boot overnight. It kept the rest nice and dry but if it's not shut in the boot it's very easily removed and it was £150 so would be a bit irritating.
I've got a "CoverCraft" one. It's not an “outdoor” type, I only put it on the car when it's in the garage. Otherwise our cat goes into the garage and will walk all over the car or sleep in it if the roof is off. It had a fight with another cat in my old Griff, should have seen the state of the leather afterwards, almost killed the bloody thing 
Anyway, give CoverCraft a call on 020 7736 3214 or mail them at sales@covercraft.demon.co.uk they now have a Tamora Template and can make up what ever kind of cover you need. I'm not sure of the cost as the dealer got it for me as part of my "purchase deal".

May be worth giving Leven a call also as when I last spoke to them they offered to look at making one for the Tamora. I didn't take up the offer as my car is garaged and I use a large cover from Halfords (which doesn't sweat)which cost £59.00

Am currently in the process of fixing a leaky drivers footwell in my chimaera. Only had a few weeks so trying to get tips on how to keep the water out from other strings on here. Door is also filling up a bit as well and not draining properly 
Even so I want to get an outdoor cover as well nfor when the weather os looking a bit messy. Have been looking at the one that Leven does for £150. Has anyone got any experience of these? Are they any good? Hassle to put on and take off?

Like you, I use the Leven one I originally purchased for my Chimaera on the Tamora. I find that as long as I tuck the rear flap down in to the space between the bodywork and the boot seal, (if that makes sense?), the boot stays completely dry, as the water drains away as it would if there was no cover on there.

Andy, the Leven covers are a doddle to put on and reasonably secure. They trap under the boot and bonnet and clip round the wing mirrors. The chimaera one keeps all the water out and keeps everything frost free in the winter. I can certainly recommend that.
I spent months getting my Chimaera completely watertight, just to sell it. Apart from checking the usual joins around the brake/clutch cylinder, check the engine/chasis number plate, the hollow (clever hey) rivets, and the ones under the windscreen tin plate thing. It's also worth checking the door seal, mine let water in where the footwell carpet wrapped into the door seal where the leather trim was. I found ome marine grade black silicone sealant (it's on one of the Chimaera posts) and sealed round the door and boot seals as well as everywhere under the bonnet. Also resealed the back lights with it. £2.10 a tube.

Nigel, Cheers for this. Was worried about other silicone sealants and if they would melt under the bonnet, can get a bit hot under there. But this stuff looks spot on. Have just ordered a tube.
Just need to get that Leven cover and spend the next few weeks in the footwell until it stays dry!!
