Depends what you want...

The latest Beltronics Radar/Laser detectors are very good, but due to the proliferation of Telephone/Radio masts, false alerts are on the increase.

GPS based devices negate the false alarms but until recently lack the ability to track/detect Mobile Laser devices or use of mobile Gatsos. The latest offerings from Snooper (the S6 Neo) and the Road Angel, both offer GPS detection and mobile device detection. I'm not too sure about the Snooper offering because it uses the Snooper S5 as the mobile Radar/Laser detection device, and I've heard some poor performance stories in relation to this. The Road Angel with the Laser Detector module would be my choice.

Bel 550 is the best one.

GPS is fine, if you want to know where every camera may be - irrespective of if its working or not. Main bonus with GPS though is time distance and Truvelo sensors which the radar / laser detectors dont pick up.

Buy one of each! Best of both worlds

Expensive, but with a GPS and laser/radar detector you will know where they are and when you drive past one you will also know which cameras are actually active!!

Of course which ones are active changes daily......
