I've just bought some Philips Silver Vision indicator bulbs and Philips Vision Plus headlamp bulbs from PowerBulbs and they've sent some free Osram All Season Fog Light bulbs.
I know that a lot have you have changed your headlamp/indicator bulbs but has anyone fitted these fog lights?
"Osram have developed a superior replacement halogen upgrade that combats the most adverse whether conditions encountered by today's motorists. Osram have developed multi layer technology, which penetrates deeper in wet atmosphere.
* Distinctive golden light
* Improved visibility in poor whether conditions
* Directly interchangeable with your current lamps
* Legal for road use world wide"
Can't remember the last time I used my front fog lights anyway?
Cheers.... Andrew

I also ordered some Silver Vision indicator bulbs & Vision Plus headlamp bulbs from PowerBulbs and they sent some free Osram All Season Fog Light bulbs too.
But they did not fit (the fog light bulbs that is) the others went in fine, no problem after jacking the car up, taking the wheels off, cutting away the mastic, unscrewing the inspection hatch and ripping my hands to bit on the rough edges of the holes to get to the bulbs.
Ah, TVR's don't ya just love em, they never make anything easy....................

Thanks Nick, was it really that hard to change the bulbs? I remember changing a front indicator on my old Chimaera without taking the wheel off. It took 30 mins of stretching and a grazed arm to get it done! Not really looking forward to doing it again! Does the panel have to be resealed when you put it back?
I'm only 500 miles off the 12000 mile service so I'm tempted to get the garage to change them?
Cheers.... Andrew

Hi Andy,
Yep, sorry to say it was.
I thought I'd be able to do it without taking the wheels off too but no chance.
If you're sad like me it gives you a good opportunity to clean the inside of the wheels. I ran a small amount of clear sealant (for bathrooms from B&Q I think) arounf the join but I don't think you really have too, depends how much driving in the rain you do I suppose. I guess it took about an hour for the first side then half that time for the other side once I knew what I was doing. Make sure you have a jack that will fit under the car ok. The one from my wife’s KA was no use and I had to borrow and old scissor jack from a friend with an FTO.
Have fun,
Cheers,
Nick

The covers are just a type of access hatch. THe various lamps are still individually sealed behind it.
When I replaced my bulbs, I just painted some underseal round the edge of the cover to seal it.
