I've had my Tamora for about 4 months now and in all this time it would just flash up the indicators when I press the remote to lock the car & arm the alarm...

Today it decided that it would also give me two bleeps together with the flashes? No I haven't done anything different today...

a) does yours do this?
b) why did it take 4 months for this to happen?

Confused Dylan

p.s. Any more in favour of Tamoras vs T350s after the sunshine today?

Dylan, the alarm will beep when activated if it detects a problem, ie. door or boot not shut correctly, etc.
Cheers.... Andrew

Come on Dylan, they're both great cars, right? If you want a vote on which is best on the basis of sunshine you'd best consider how many days of rain we get!

Hi Dylan
don't know if you remember but my alarm was bleeping when we met up at shuttleworth. turns out it was the sensor in the passenger side door where the window was not butting up fully when shut.
Quick pit stop into the dealers and was sorted in minutes.

Thanks for the info on alarm bleeps - I actually thought that it was normal!?!

I guess I'll be checking the doors, windows, boot to see if something is not quite shut properly...

Cheers,
Dylan

On my Tuscan the alarm will beep twice if I activate it whilst the interior light is still on. I believe the alarm detects when there's a light on and beeps to warn you. It's OK of course because the interior light goes out soonafter. I expect it's the same on the Tamora/T350.
