Anyone know when they are coming out? I remember one or two PH'ers saying they had ordered one - when is this going to happen?

Probably still going to be a while yet. Last I heard was that they were expecting production 4-6 months after the non Targa.

Can anyone hazard a guess as to where the targa top will be stored? Could it be folded up and kept in the glove compartment?

Wont it go in the hidden boot space under the carpet in the back?

the head-scratching continues over where to store a soddin huge great targa panel (...you thought getting a Griff panel in the bonnet was hard)

I can only see them doing a pair of T-bar type panels (should fit...or make a Tamora look like a T350, if yoou know what I mean

given it has a roll cage it cant have a total lift out panel like a Tuscan or it would look a bit silly?

So on that basis either its going to have a big lift out sunroof panel or a pair of removable panels with a t bar to connect up a modified roll cage.

worst scenario would be to loose the rigidity of the cage that the standard car is provided with?

Ben does the roll cage on the T350 extend over the side windows then? I assumed it was a rear roll hoop and a strengthened windscreen surround. If so a Targa top would work ok. p.s. it's what I expect I will be tempted by. Rich...

no its a full cage, with bars just inside the outside edge of the roof - hence my comments

HHC seem to think the roof may have an air scoop and be shaped with two ripples like the bonnet - giving even more head room.
Will be interesting!

I've been waiting on the targa since the motorshow (put a deposit down then). The last info I got - from Mole Valley a couple of weeks ago was:

>Design to be finalised by the 3rd week in March. Not holding my breath tho'.
>2 piece roof panels in carbon fibre. Colour coding optional.
>Stow in boot. No special arrangements for them to slot into - so I'm expecting a roof bag or similar. Hope they come up with something better.
>Roll cage to remain 'as is'. This might look a bit odd IMHO, I was expecting them to go to a T bar cage (might make the car less rigid tho').

I was also told that there is an engine/sports exhaust/Tuscan S brake upgrade to be available for 4k soon as well.
The engine is to remain 3.6Ltr & be upgraded to 400bhp

Just been having a chat with a nice man at TVR by the name of Damien McTaggart - I'm sure you all recognise the name-If not you should be ashamed to call yourselves TVR lovers!!

I wanted to know about the likelihood of a rag top T350 - and they have looked at it, but couldn't quite get the packaging right. The Targa T350 will be about a further 6 months in gestation! looks like I'll have to wait a further while for that dream car! Ah, well, might as well go and play in the Tamora!!
