Tamora Fan Control?

I am just wondering if anyone else has got this problem with their air fan. I don't have air-con, but my fan don't seem to be working right. The 2 airvent's just underneath the front windscreen always have hot air coming out no matter which position the air-tempature switch is in and the two airvents pointing towards the driver and passenger only sends cold air out, if on warm no air comes out of these two. So it doesn't really matter what position the tempature switch is in

Anyone else have this problem or does your fans work perfectly? Should I contact the garage with this one?

The top vents only blow hot air and the lower ones cold. However it should be one or the other. My car has the same problem and is being fixed this week while in for its second 1k run in service. Must be quite a common issue as this is the second time mine has played up despite having some parts replaced on the previous occurence. I would suggest to get your dealer to look at it.

I want hot air out of the dash vents, but I asked at the factory, and it would require major dismantling of the dashboard. It is a silly arrangement, especially for a soft top!

Yep agree, it is silly!

You do find though that on the lower cold settings you get cold air from the dash and nothing from the windscreen/footwells.

Then on the higher settings you get hot air from the windscreen/footwells and nothing from the dash.

Only on the middle settings do you get all working but then still it's hot from the windscreen/footwells and cold from the dash!

Thought TVR would have sorted out their bloody heater/blower problems with the newer cars. Reading this thread it sounds like they haven't progressed much since the Griff/Chim.

Still I guess you guys are at least managing to get cold air out of some of the vents...
