I would like to ask any T350 owners who they have their insurance through. I am currently with Sunninghill but they have said they are having problems in obtaining quotes from insurance companies for the T350 as the model is so new.

I need to produce a cover note so the dealer can get the car ready for the road this Saturday. Would I be best to go with another company/broker?

All help appreciated!!

Is it just me or has finding good insurance at a fair price now become an annual hassle for other people too??

I can't believe that!! Sunninghill insure my car and have just sent me a cover note, and they have insured Bennno on his T350C too....

I'd ring them again and tell them you know at least two other people who have insured with them, it should be the same insurance as the Tamora as it's basicaly the same car...

Sunninghill said they were doing their best but could not get a quote for me at that time.

That was this morning, called again this afternoon and was told it will be tomorrow afternoon or 24 hours. Why I just don't know, probably not their fault. Must be something further down the chain. They said there was a problem similar to this when the Tuscan came out. The Tuscan was given a low rating and then resulted in lots of high cost claims from owners which cost insurers dearly. So I have been told anyway!

Happy to wait 24 hours if it proves worthwhile as I have had excellent service from them.

On the other hand I need a cover-note to get the new car ready for Saturday!

sunninghill quoted me £620 which includes unlimited track days, only thing is that the car needs a GPS based security system which costs a bit of additional money - although tell me if you want a trackstar one as if i reccomend you we can both have £25 for our troubles!

I am sure there might be some that dont insist on it, but none i could find that do track cover!

Thanks Bennno, I will look into a tracker to see if it makes a big difference to the premium. I'll keep your offer in mind.

I've got a cover note from Sunninghill. However Royal Sun Alliance are still in the proccess of setting the rating. At the moment they are treating it as a Tuscan which has a poor history. SO my premium has gone up.

Beano and flasher I think you'll find Royal and Sun haven't yet finalised the quotes yet as the rate hasn't been done yet.
