Hi Guys,
When I start my car from stone cold I get an error come up on the dash and the dash alarm sounds.
The error says, "Oil temp 202 C"
Once the engine is warm the error and the alarm go away or I can clear it by pressing the two buttons behind the wheel at once.
Both the dealer and the factory have said this is quite common and an error in the software that they are trying to sort.
Has anyone else got / had this problem?
Cheers,
Nick

I have the same problem - glitch in the software for oil temps below 0deg C at startup. I have also noticed that at 0deg C oil temp when running, it wil sometimes flash between 100 and 0. My oil temp is also reading 7deg C low (when compared with ambient and water temp when engine cold)
I get all sorts of error codes popping up now and again. Think I'm on for the full-house - is there a prize ?
I just press the buttons and ignore them and will continue to do so unless one persists.
Dougie - I was having all kinds of issues with my LCD but since my car went back to the factory and they replaced it ( plus the control unit I think ), its been perfect under all conditions. I have always been running V6.0 software so it was definitely some kind of hardware issue. Maybe worth speaking to your dealer about getting yours changed.
