..... Seatbelts!!
After reading the posts on here regarding seatbelt problems I ensured I had the fix on my car. This seems to be what most people have, a black plastic cap over the top of the belt. However, it does not work!! All it does is pull the belt toward the frame, which encourages the belt to fold and in ten minutes I have a large amount of seatbelt in my lap.
The modification posted by Robertm looks much better, provided it raises and aligns the belt such that it misses the seat/frame.
What mods has everyone got? Do they work?
Thanks in advance.

With no mod, if you're careful putting the roof down, you can avoid it fouling the seatbelts.
The mod is crap, you're right it just makes the belt fold over on itself and jam. On the passenger side in my car, as soon as they moved this would happen and it's a pull over and stop job in order to sort it.
I didn't have the mod, never really had much of a problem, thought I'd better get it on safety grounds and two weeks later got it removed because it was far worse, belts jamming all the time. I believe my dealer now removes this mod during the PDI. I think the car could fail an MOT with the mod in place.
Cheers.

The dealer at the moment, but I will take it further if necessary. the factory are clearly aware/concerned otherwise they wouldnt have bothered tooling up for the full cowling. Other than the belt folding over the real danger with the "cheap" fix is that you can still jam the belt open if you slide or recline the seat back, this jams the belt against the B-pillar - lethal if you introduce slack. We should all insist on the full mod as fitted to new vehicles....
