T350c On driven
Discussion
my wife and i both thought the front end was gorgeous... the best tvr front end in a long while (really still dont think much of the tuscan, tuscan s , tuscan r or tamora noses), but that back end is a mess... diffuser and exhausts are fair enough... there's a point to them but did they steal those lights from an old honda prelude? and did someone take pot shots at the rear with a golf ball? now if they took a tuscan rear and stuck it on the t350c I might accidentally buy a new car

No...Tuscan rear end (even the 'S') is a mess, as is the front IMO, therefore I didn't buy one. The T350 and the Tamora are IMO far more attractive..

I think you'll find that the Maserati 3200 is probably the inspiration for TVR's new rear light design. I think Maserati also used compound LED elements in them (as TVR did with the Tuscans rear indicators) does anyone know if TVR is doing the same with the 350?
Also, what do you mean the front end of the Tuscan is a mess? I guess it is just a matter of taste but in my book, the Tuscan (regular and "S" but not the "R")is right up there with the E-type Jag and Triumph Spitfire as one of the best looking British sports cars ever made. TVR should be proud. The Griffith as well. Both are cars that people will be lusting after for many years to come.
The back end of the 350 is much better (IMHO) than the Tamora though. I never liked that bizarre undertray at the rear of the Tam. It is still present on the 350 but less obvious and more a part of the car. The first incarnation looked as if it was tacked on to the car at the last minute. I'd be willing to bet that it was originally designed without the thing but after they took it out on the track they decided it needed some aerodynamic help and came up with this as a fix.
If so, they should have gone back to the drawing board rather than trying to slap on some sort of band-aid fix.
I do like the 350s front pretty well though. It is reminiscent of a Porsche (in a good way) but with a sort of Italian curviness.
I'm not crazy about the Tuscan R though. I feel that they've lost their way a little with that one. It seems a little unbalanced and "swoopy" after the precision and drama of the original.
ok i'm wrong about the rear end being from a prelude but it does remind me of a previous generation prelude... must be the sudden drop off. we dont like that light cluster anyway!
as for the tuscan's front I just dont like the golf ball attack effect plus the light cluster of the tuscan makes the car tall (as they're in an almost vertical line...) leading your eye upwards rather than outwards. i think the rear is fairly simple and cleanly styled, but looks finished off, unlike the griffith's rear which looks plain and like they ran out of budget! (tuscan rear + griff front would make a nice car...)
as for the R, it is a bit too swoopy... maybe they should have made it a wider tuscan as the cerbera speed 12 is to the cerbera

So you're only talking about the Tuscan S then?
The standard Tuscan has lights horizontally low down rather than vertically.
the light cluster looks vertical to me

Me thinks the confusion is the rear end!!
