Just Attempted to go into town lunchtime and had a worrying time in the Tamora!

Was driving along a straight bit of road and every time I accelerated in 3rd at about 30mph the back lost traction and stepped out!
This happenned a few times until I came to a crossroads and dabbed the brakes locking up all wheels!

I stopped and got out and found petrol sprayed all over the rear wheels. I checked the fuel filler cap and all OK. As this was less than a mile from my dealer I took the car to them and walked back to work.

About an hour later I overheard some people talking about a fire engine on one of the roads leading away from the office!

Turns out that all I'd done is driven through a fuel spill in the road!

Then had a embarrasing call to the dealer to tell them I knew what the problem was!

Ooops!

Much better to have it checked than not. Reminds me of a saying 'the only stupid question is the one that is not asked'.
