The bs have already stolen my TVR valve caps after less than 2 weeks.

I now have a set of Halfords finest gracing my alloys.

Has anyone managed to make a decent set of locking valve caps...I don't like the idea of people being able to let my tyres down in the middle of the night either.

AFAIK there are 2 types that are more difficult to nick.

1) standard caps that have a small grub screw in the side, which you tighten up to prevent removal

2) flush fitting valves

Try getting a demon tweeks catalogue or looking in M*x P*wer/Revs

apparently the likely culprits are BMX riders, as they have the same fitting.

I suggest you cruise around and steal them back!

Same thing happened to me when I was at Goodwood in September - you'd think that it was a better class of person at Goodwood "The Roght Crowd without the Crowding" but apparently not! - I just typed "valve cap" into the search engine and found hundreds of people selling them. Got some grub-screw type locking ones but they are a bit big and heavy. Rich...
