Wiper Motor on its last legs

After a mechanical failure of of the wiper spindle linkages which I have repaired / welded; it has become evident that the incident took a nasty toll on the motor itself. I had assumed it was Ford part but can't find a donor part anywhere.

Does anyone know the original part number or a substitute (or are we in the realms of re-condition my one)?
