Can anyone tell me to which standards Tamoras are tested? Is there any indication on the type approval certificate you receive with a new car?

NZ have imposed tighter restrictions and it's looking like TVRs will no longer be allowed into NZ.

All TVR's have to pass SVA, which I think is Special Vehicle Approval. It's a testing process for roadworthiness, safety etc., designed for small volume manufacturers. It isn't as strict as TUV etc.

hi
from a copy of ministry approval cert
car class codes are as follows

A amateur built vehicle
P personally imported vehicle
C vehicle manufactured using parts from a
registered vehicle
M motor caravan,ambulance or hearse
N left hand drive vehicle
L vehicle manufactured in very low volume
D disabled person's vehicle
S rebuilt vehicle
T armoured vehicle
R vehicle not being in one of the above classes
E vehicle examined by the authority in another
EEA state

i'll leave it to your imagination which class the
tamora is in

its category is passenger (M1)
its CO2 is N/A ( is that not applicable or
not available
its HC is N/A ( what is that)
