Long and painful story, but Blackpool have been 'looking after' the deposit I put down on a Tamora at the 2000 Motorshow. Let's just say that the delivery date promised was a little on the optimistic side and I got fed up,...and angry,..and irate,... ,...and then thought sod it and went elsewhere.
Then you know what happens, love the look of the new coupe, start talking to the guys on the stand and suddenly someone is phoning the factory confirming they still hold my deposit and I am signing another order....doh
Guys we need to talk colours!!!

I done exactly the same. Placed a deposit on a Tuscan at the Motorshow in 98, but didn't proceed with it, ended up transfering it to my Present Tamora, and now placed a deposit on a new T350C at the show on Sunday.
I must stop going to the show, it costs me thousands, but always come away on
The colour issue as you say is the most difficult. I quite like my Tamora colour of Widefire Red Pearl with Anthracite wheels and interior (see Profile), but if you are changing car, then I think its best to go for a different colour as well.
I am either going for a light colour with silver wheels, or a dark colour, something like moonraker Black pearl with anthracite wheels & interior, would look really aggressive i think. I think a visit to the factory will be a must to see a few on the production line that have been painted.
decisions, decisions, all part of the fun though
