I am the proud owner of a original LHD TVR Griffith 500.

I always liked the Tamora - a splendid and most beautiful car, but as far as I know only produced as RHD.

Is it possible to convert a Tamora to LHD? Has that ever been done?

Depends on how much money you want to spend. Anything can be done by the right person at the right price. Unobtainable parts can be made etc.

The problem is that you will never get your money back. You would really have to love a Tamora and want it to be LHD. You could probably buy a brand new Ferrari, Porsche, Lambo etc in LHD for less money!

A few Sagaris' were made in LHD. Tuscans were made in LHD, it would be far more cost effective to just buy one of those.

A Tamora is never going to be the top of anyone's TVR wish list. It was a bit of an afterthought car, and let's be honest it's an ugly little bathtub. It doesn't have the classic lines of the Griffith, or the drama of a Tuscan or Sagaris. It's even uglier than a Chimaera, and not even as practical as the boot is smaller.

As your own profile says - you've never paid top dollar for your sheds. You've proved my point, thank you. He wouldn't ever get his money back on the car.

A body and paint worker converted a Tuscan here in France from RHD to LHD. So this should be possible for a Tamora.
This will cost a bit for sure. Does it worth it? Who cares? This is your car and your money.
Personally I'm fine with my RHD cars here on the continent but I don't want to force people to believe me.

Would have though on a T car it'd be fairly easy, you could reuse the dash pod, the peddle box could be reused, steering rack (assuming no clearance issues with the exhaust) but no idea about the rack, convert to a LHD Subaru?

On a Griffith or Chim you have to recreate a mirror image dashboard which would be a big job, don't think that's such an issue for the later cars
