T350 throttle pots
Discussion
Does anyone know why there are two throttle pots on the speed six? I've had to zero the pots because the rear one was showing 30% at tickover. This happened last year as well so I suspect it needs replacing. Just wondering if it would be ok to unplug it and leave it until I have the time to look at it properly.
To answer my own question in case it helps anyone else; no it's not OK to run on one tps.
The engine ran with an EFI warning showing, but was lumpy. MBETool showed both throttle positions changing, but not keeping track, even though only one throttle pot was attached. Very strange and not what I was expecting.
The throttle pot checked out with an ohmmeter, gave a solid, repeatable value at all positions, so I've put it back in.
