Am i right in thinking when you wash your Tamora water collects in the very front of the spoiler and then drips out day after day on your garage floor.

Its clear water, and i have checked coolant reservoir and washer bottle which are fine....might be worth drilling a small hole on underside of spoiler

Is it coming out of the body cavity or the crevices in the engine bay?

A couple of holes on the underside of the body (one either side of the radiator access panel if you have one) won't do any harm but will allow water in if you're driving in the wet. So you may want to find out where the water is entering the body cavity and fixing that before plugging the drain holes.

I am surprised your front spoiler is watertight enough to hold water for a few days - most have enough cracks and damage from normal road use to leak like a sieve.

Joking aside, it's not something I noticed on mine even after getting the front end repaired but given how large the hole is at the front there is plenty of opportunity for water to get in and collect in there.

It's something that I noticed for the first time last year after a soaking at Spa. The car was parked facing downhill slightly and liquid was dripping out of the front corner most of the day. I was almost sure that I'd got a leak from the radiator but I checked the levels and found that there wasn't any loss of coolant. To say that I was relieved is somewhat of an understatement!

Thanks for all your reply s and like MK Tamora I was mega relieved as I had just driven him home London to Newcastle...ran like a dream so stable at speed....washed him and put him in the garage....and as it's my first TVR thought here we go.....but hopefully just a lack of development budget

Many professionally designed commercial glass systems still use simple weep hole technology to drain access water away so a 4 mm drill hole doesn’t sound like too much of a drama to me smile
