Hi mates,
got an issue with the dash of my Sag. The fault is random: When I stop the engine and turn off the key, the green light of the dash does not turn off. When I turn the key again just before engine start and turn it back again, somtimes the light turns off, sometimes not.
Sometimes there is no way to turn the light off untill the battery is flat, takes half a day up to a complete day. When I charge the battery again, the light is off.
Sometimes the dash shows the fault code below, sometimes not. So complete random I think but: First time it happend, few month ago, it was very seldom, now rather often.
Any ideas?

P.S.: If I take out the fuse, the light is off, of course. When I push the fuse back in, it turns on again. Even with no fuse connected the battery is flat after a few hours.

Strange question, but does it go off when you press the brake pedal by any chance? I had similar on a T350, it turned out to be alternator failure.

Maybe the dash light does not get the signal from the dash ecu to switch of.

You should check the cable and connectors from the dash ecu to the dash.

Furthermore I recommend to check the earthing points (engine right side near the front wheel and in the batterie compartment. Be careful, the earthing connection in the passenger footwell is secured by two nuts, one in the footwell, one in the battery compartment.

Almost certainly a diode in the alternator . A cheap fix is https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261440810555

I was also going to suggest the diodes on the alternator as I had something similar on the Tamora.

Can't advise as to how to fix because I got Str8 Six to do it. But it wasn't expensive from recollection.
