Hi all,

Strange one this, but has anyone experienced an issue with cabin pressure in T350Ts? I don’t recall experiencing this with previous Ts, but the closest I can describe is like a constant need for ears to pop when the windows are fully up. Crack the windows and it immediately alleviates it, but it is a becoming a bit of a nuisance.

Can anyone advise? Thank you in advance.

Rob

With or without the roof on? If with the roof on I would imagine it’s the seals on the roof allowing air in while your driving with the windows up it will build up pressure in the cabin with the windows open this pressure will release.

First time, I hear something like that. So at least your windows and doors are well sealed.

As far as I now there is no cabin venting in the T350. Any additional vents on windows or window frames and surroundings will raise water dropping in, any on the underside will allow fumes or dirt entering the cabin. Maybe an open heating circuit could help. Did you try if there is a different between fan/heating on and off and ventilation flaps in the cabin open/closed?

However, You should try to reduce the airflow through the hardtop seals.

I have a T and have not experienced this.
I like the seal theory but presumably you would be hearing something?
Do the ventilation settings make any difference?

A lot of cars have a rubber flap, it is often low in the boot floor. I would see if you can locate this as it may be stuck or blocked?

It would not surprise me if your car should have one and someone at the factory forgot to add it on your specific car or even TVR omitted one.

I think it would be possible to cut one In but it would need to be done well. You could get one from any written off family car.

Well, I would argue that it is infinitely more useful than your post as I suggested what might be the problem, what might be missing and whiat might be done to alleviate the problem.

Have a read of this thread, it could be that the gap they talk of is happening on yours and this is allowing in pressure.

On my Rangie if I open the sunroof I get an odd pressure wave in the car but if I crack any window a tiny bit the pressure goes. I also had this on an E30 BMW years ago.
