Got the Power Supply error code 144 today so disconnected...

Hello everyone

First time I've seen this error. Didn't want another dead battery so disconnected it this evening. Going to book her in for a service next week but how long can I keep it disconnected before I make the problem worse?

In the meantime anything I can look at to try and resolve this issue?

Check battery voltage

Never had this fault code so far, even with low battery.

Graham Varley writes in the Sagaris bible that this fault code is shown if ignition is switched off too quickly before ECU has shutdown and recommends: „switch off slower, ignore“!
