I haven’t checked the orange book yet, but any ideas how easy it is to replace a dead alternator? If it’s not beyond the realms of normal man, any tips and hints please? Thanks!
Electrics, disconnect battery for safety, yes tensioning a mare, need triple jointed arm. Leave door open when reconnecting battery in case it locks you out..
I found the hardest part was swapping over the pully. Get a proper OEM one, not a cheapie. As mentioned, using a turnbuckle makes belt tension adjustment a lot easier.
