Hi seem to have a problem with my tam the rpm seems to be slow dropping. Av checked cable and butterflies all closing good if any one has any ideas it would be appreciated.Thanks.

You may need to be a bit clearer regarding the problem. Do you mean the RPMs are slowing down when at idle and the engine is struggling to stay running?
Have you plugged in a laptop to see what the engine ECU says for faults and what the sensor traces look like?
May be the o2/lamda sensors so its adapting fuelling wrong (failed sensor or the very common grounding or poor wiring pin/connection problems)?

You mean when you rev it, it takes a long time to return to idle?

Throttle is sticking.

Usually it's at the front end where the pot is.

Carefully loosen the screws holding the pot on and squirt some WD40 around the spindle.

Do the rest of the butterfly spindles at the same time.

Potentiometer aka variable resistor.

Modulates the voltage sent to the ecu in relation to the throttle spindle position.

May have a photo .......
