One of the things that bugs me about my Tamora is the lack of a footrest.
I thought about getting a local engineering firm to make something that would bolt to the baseplate.
Then I came across Autobarn Engineering who make alloy parts fot TVR's including curved pedals.
Contacting Leigh Jones and telling him what I was looking to fit he asked to send a photo of my existing pedals with dimensions of the space available and agreed it might be possible. After mocking one up and sending some photos, I agreed to send him my base plate fo him to modify.
He promptly returned it along with a a footrest, 2 new curved pedals for brake & clutch and a new longer pivot rod with the correct space/bushes.
This is the end result and after recently completing a 1k mile trip around Scotland I can confirm that it made a huge difference comfort wise, I'm so happy with it.

A fourth pedal? Hm, good solution, however looks a little bit confusing.

Ten years ago acs pro had another option http://www.tvr-forum.de/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=9... not sure if they still have this footrest in stock.

That would be too high for me, because mine pivots at the base the hight can be adjusted.

I suspect that you could be in for some MOT or plod difficulties with that pedal arrangement.

I wouldn't buy the car until it was removed and the original pedal box installed either.

I just shove my left foot up between the side of the clutch pedal and the transmission tunnel.

Gets slightly stuck occasionally, but I've learnt to pull my foot up well in advance of a gear change to avoid any embarrassment.

Unexpected fluffy bunnies in the road may or may not cause problems, but they haven't so far.
