Tamora without aircon. Yes or no?
Discussion
I owned one without Aircon and can't say I ever found it an issue TBH - except for burning hot days ( remember them :-)
I've also had a couple of Chimaera's and the Tamora doesn't seem to suffer with the same heat saturation in to the cockpit form my experience. I've not been in a Tamora with AC though so have nothing to compare against. But in 2 years of ownership i never found myself thinking I wish this car had AC

Mine also does not suffer for heat saturation and does not have air-con.
The best bit about these cars is running round with the roof off! if it needs the roof on; its because its raining. If its raining, then tip toeing around in the wet with no ABS or Traction control isn't my idea of fun.

Air con in a convertible? Never understood that
You should have spent some time in my old 5.5 chim on very warm days in slow or stationary traffic. I would have swapped my children for A/C on those days! Absolutely unbearable. On the other hand, a speed 6 probably generates less heat..........
It is necessary if you are taking the wife/girlfriend anywhere smart as they require full protection for their hair - this means roof on - not negotiable.
The aircon is also a very effective wine chiller if you put said bottle of vino in the glove compartment (also works for beer).
I have used it very occasionally with the roof off on a scorching hot day when stationary in traffic.

So, I've joined the Tamora family. Seems I have found a nice example, but I have a few opportunities to make the car better for me.
The heater/demister has very strange qwerks. Demist is fine. But to get the middle heater vents to blow I need to turn the temp down to the green LEDs and then they blow but but no real heat, while the demist vents are still blowing hot... Any ideas? Also a smell of fuel coming from the back end. Are there some simple solutions/filler mods that need doing?
I will be a frequent visitor here I think.
Cheers
