High beam fog hella light removal

Hi, has anyone removed a complete 90mm hella high beam driving / fog light unit? (It’s a Tamora btw)

I’m wondering whether it’s necessary to pull the 3 adjuster rods from the ball end captive fittings to do so?

On the Sag there is a metal ring bonded to the body with three threaded studs. The Hella lamp unit is attached to this ring with three nuts. The adjusters are part and parcel of the lamp unit itself. You can see the cut outs in the metal ring to accommodate the adjusters and the threaded studs in the image below. Might well be the same/similar set up for the Tamora.

turns out they're dead easy to remove. crank the adjustment rods out until the lamp body presses against the retaining ring and the adjustment rods let go.
