I vaguely recall seeing one for sale from lasparts - https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/lasparts - but not there now. Might be worth a message.

Off topic but have you seen this thread regarding the Surrey Roof? https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

Very helpful tip. There are two other threads with different tips for minor changes that really improve the Surrey Roof. Worth a forum search.

At last your search appears over Steve.

Historically, my Tamora has lost it's hood centre panel....and for the second time in 6 months the bolt on the drivers side hoop has released it's self and dropped to the floor!...the passenger side bolt has been replaced in the past with a different bolt, so I cannot remove that to check. Has anyone got the definitive answer to what is the OE bolt is for the job (I do not want to Loctite it in at the moment as I will be having a new hood (although it is fitting fine the replacement centre panel is a different blue than the folding part). A@

I got some M8, stainless rivnuts. Some 50mm M8 stainless 'penny' washers. Enlarged the hole in the washer to make a snug fit for the rivnut (didn't 'crush' it in). Then glassed / epoxied them in the holes [from the boot side] of the lower mounts. Then used a stainless pan head / dome head bolt with PTFE tape to secure the roof arm.

PTFE holds the bolt in very nicely. If it does come loose then easily nipped up.
