Apologies, probably been asked a thousand times but I'm a newbie. I believe the T350 door mirrors are VW Corrado. Any specific model restriction when ordering a new heated glass unit or will any one do?

Also... Just realised both door mirror adjustments don't work. Luckily they're both pretty much spot on, as is.

Same symptoms both sides. All buttons within car wok perfectly but directional button results in a click from the appropriate mirror for up & down, left & right adjustment. Assume the motors have seized. Easy job to replace? And what about parts?

Motor bearings might just be tight? Tiny spot of oil, just like oiling your Scalextric cars motor wink

Failing that buy a couple of second hand mirrors off Ebay for spares (and a glass!)

Ok thanks Mike, assume the motor is accessible when the glass is eased off?

Here are two pictures, one of the mirror without the glass and one without the plastic surround.

Note that you can only remove the plastic frame by loosening the two screws (red circles). Otherwise you will not get the tab (square mark in red) past the carrier.

Interesting thread - also one of my outstanding jobs for my drivers side mirror, I read somewhere that the mirror motors are the same as BMW series 1 mirrors ?

OP here. A funny thing happened today. I replaced the passenger side mirror glass (old one was a bit scabby round the edges) and lo and behold, both mirrors worked correctly - and in all directions. I've done nothing else since the original post, except drive it in some very hot weather on Monday.

I managed to put a spot of oil at the very top of the top motor, where the tny gear wheel revoloves but couldn't find any other bearings easily accessible to oil without taking everything apart. I didn't want to push my luck!
