I'm getting a really strong petrol smell from my T350C and it's idling erratically, almost cutting out at times. Any thoughts? I'm wondering if it could be the lambda sensors but I don't know how to check them.
Do you really mean fuel smell or maybe a synthetic smell of burnt fuel? I had the latter when I removed the catalytic converters and drove with Decat pipes. They did not seal completely.
Gasoline smell should come from the supply line, so fuel rail or fuel hoses or fuel filter?
